90% of Resisters are elders from Okinawa and Main Land.
Young ones are rarely address in this struggle.


A retired school teacher comes very often as he experienced the battle of Okinawa.


Before starting to lift up resisters, police give an announce to move by themselves.


Security company called ALSOK covers all around Japan's security guard.
However, Okinawa U.S. military base's work is just intense.
As those workers are ordinary men, not being trained like police or military.
I wonder that how much they understand about what their job brings to Okinawa's future.


20 Concrete mixer trucks and other trucks came into the base this morning.
Recently, 3 times a day, the trucks go into the base.
Certainly, the construction goes forward day by day.


Except Wednesday and Sunday trucks go into.
It is depends on the number of the people.
200-300 people can stop the police attack.
But, today was only 50 people.

Miyako island, Small Okinawa's Small Island

  picture of Miyako island's militarize plan 11 th February “The Symposium for thinking a peace & military bases at North East Asia” was held at Miyako island. 9 people from Korea visited this time. (Pyeongtaek & Jeju island) Pyeongtaek is where biggest U.S. Army base in the world exists. Jeju island where Korean government constructed new Navy base on 2016 at Gangjeong village despite of strong opposition movement. I’d like to tell you what I saw & I felt by coming Miyako island after one year of my last visiting. Last year of January, when I came, there were no buildings at the site of Chiyoda New Japanese Defense Force’s base. In one year, a dozen of barracks for soldiers were already built and a forest of community prayer site was cut down much smaller and ammunition depots, 700 tons fuel tanks are under construction. Thank you ... Governor Onaga. We will not forget your dedication to Okinawa. Okinawan governor Onaga past away on 8th Aug. He had a pancreas cancer. He was given surgery this April. If he gave up his job at that point, he 'd may be survived up to now. His responsibility was so much to Okinawa. He was an one of the most powerful gorveronor in Okinawan history. He was a member of Liberal Democratic Party(LDP) which is the biggest political party in Japan. Priminister Abe is the top of LDP. However, when Mr. Onaga saw how Japanese goverment treat Okinawa, He decided to leave from LDP. And Mr. Onaga ran for Okinawa governor and He was elected. What was a special about a governor Onaga is uniting Okinawan conservatives to stop U.S. military eapansion. U.S. mlitary issue in Okinawa was always devided conservative party and liberal party.
